Wanting to deliver HE, then read on

GTA member Gen2 Engineering & Technology Training, started its journey towards delivering HE qualifications in May 2007, and commenced delivery of its first Foundation Degree in January 2008. Since then the company has expanded its HE capability and offering, and now delivers a suite of employer focussed part-time qualifications from Levels 4 and 5 (HNC/HND & Foundation Degree) up to Level 6 & 7 (BEng(Hons) & PG Cert). The company has a separate HE delivery team of some 15 staff, and is accredited by three universities including; Cumbria, Central Lancashire, and Manchester and has over 380 HE learners in learning. It has reached maturity on many of its programmes and will this year celebrate its 4th Graduation Ceremony.

Mike also advised the conference that grants are available from the Further Education Trust for Leadership (FETL), an independent charity and think tank which is working to strengthen the leadership of thinking in further education. FETL grants of up to £100,000 are available for organisations with a track record of leading thinking in FE, skills and related fields.
